As a mother and photographer, I’ve dolled my babies up for all kinds of different sessions. Janie & Jack outfits, beautiful backdrops, perfectly styled hair, etc… Not only do these sessions tend to be the most stressful, it does not showcase their true individual personalities. My favorite images are always the ones with messed up hair and wearing only a diaper. I love their angelic faces and little bodies with that pushed out stomach. The ones they weren’t “camera ready”. It’s the morning bed head or playing in their rooms with a favorite toy. Those are my favorites.
“A day in the Life…” documents a typical day in your child’s
life. The session typically takes place in your home where your child is the
most comfortable, but it could also be at their favorite park. Sessions are planned around your child’s nap
schedule when he/she is the most happy.
I will creatively document play time, eating, and maybe even bath
time. Mommy, daddy and siblings are
welcomed and encouraged to get in on the action.

We call him "Mr. Baby." He's a little over 1 year old here (photo below). He still looks like a baby and even likes to be swaddled like a baby.
Her 1st experience with snow. She calls is "no".
One of the 1st words out of her mouth each morning is "Wwwaaaatchhh". Perhaps we should cut back on the t.v.
